      I am disgusted by people’s inability to deal with criticism. Complete refusal to deal with their doings, choices, art, themselves, to take responsibility for what they put out there - to fight for it, believe in it and defend it, but also to test it, examine it, cure it or even replace it. It is one of our more basic forms of communication, discussion, dialogue. But no, we have become pampered, defensive, weak, stupid and afraid to deal with the fire. Wasn’t it Shakespeare who wrote: ‘For I am nothing, if not critical’?

Get past the stupid 30 second introduction and enjoy this too.

All successful people realize that time is the most precious commodity that’s out there. It’s the one thing that you can’t buy or ever buy back. So these successful people realize that they have an allotted time to perform a given task, so that they have to give it their absolute all to doing that task.

Going through the motions is the most disadvantageous thing that you can do.

      When you get to the point where all you want to do is be successful as bad as you want to breathe then you’ll be successful. And I’m here to tell you that number one, most of you say you want to be successful, but you don’t’ want it bad. you just kinda want it. you don’t want it badder than you want to party. you don’t want it more than you want to be cool. you don’t want success as much as you want to sleep. Some of you love sleep more than you love success and I’m telling you here today that if you want to be successful you have to be willing to give up sleep. You gotta be work off the 3 hours of sleep, the two hours. Some days you might have to stay up three days in a row. Because if you go to sleep you might miss the opportunity to be successful. You gotta go days—you gotta want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat.
